The Challenge

Booni Box's founder was the bottleneck. Every campaign cost four hours of his own time to build, and every reply came to him.

Anuj had been running B2B corporate gifting for ten years and knew the channel worked. The problem was that he was doing all of it himself. The workflow ran: Anuj defined the target list, a freelancer scraped the leads, Anuj built the campaign, which took four hours or more each time, and then Anuj personally handled every reply that came back.

That capped two things at once. It capped how many campaigns could run, because each one cost him half a day he did not have. And it capped responsiveness, which matters more in gifting than in most categories: a buyer pricing up Christmas boxes is comparing suppliers that week, not that month.

It was also the wrong use of his time. Anuj can take around seven proper pitch meetings a day and closes roughly one in three. Every hour spent building a campaign or triaging an inbox was an hour not spent in front of a buyer, in a business where the fourth quarter carries most of the year.

Our Solution

ToplineX took the entire top of the funnel off Anuj, running the list, the copy, the sending and the inbox so he only ever sees buyers.

We built the list against the filter that actually matters for Booni Box, which is company size rather than sector: 50 to 500 employees, where the gifting budget sits with someone reachable and the decision lands before Christmas rather than after it. Christmas gifting is close to a universal use case in that band, so sector was used to shape the message rather than to narrow the list.

We then ran parallel campaigns by buyer persona, covering executive assistants, leadership, HR and office managers. Our team handled every reply within fifteen minutes, qualified the buyer, and booked the meeting into Anuj's calendar. Interested buyers who did not need a meeting, which in this market is a meaningful share, went to Anuj as a working list with the context attached, so he could send a visual and a quote directly without doing any of the chasing.

The four hours per campaign went to zero. Anuj stopped building campaigns and stopped managing an inbox.

The Results

Booni Box reached over 31,000 companies in five weeks heading into peak season, generated 92 interested buyers, and its founder stopped doing outbound altogether.

In the first five weeks we contacted more than 31,000 companies and generated 207 replies, 92 of which were buyers interested in a quote or a conversation. 10 went straight into Anuj's calendar as booked meetings, and the rest went to him as a qualified working list, because a large share of Booni Box orders complete off an emailed visual without a meeting ever happening.

Executive assistants turned out to be the strongest persona, producing half the booked meetings, which confirmed what Anuj already suspected about who decides quickly in this market. Running the personas as separate campaigns is what made that visible.

The more important result is the one that does not appear in a campaign report. Going into the fourth-quarter peak, the channel now runs without him, and his time goes into pitch meetings and fulfillment capacity instead of list building and inbox triage.
